Littlest Pet Shop is a toy product developed by Hasbro. The basic premise for the toys and associated games are five miniature animals that live in a tree house, inside a pet shop on Littlest Lane. The five miniature animals go on adventures with other miniature animals. The games are based on these adventures.
History
Littlest Pet Shop began as a popular line of Kenner toys, however, interest dwindled in 1992 and the line was retired. In 2005 after a complete redesign, Littlest Pet Shop toys and games are now one of the most popular lines for girls. Since the redesign, sales have soared to over $600 million dollars.

PC Games
Littlest Pet Shop Game for PC, released Oct. 20 2008, is rated for all ages. Run your own pet shop and care for the pets.
Video Games
Littlest Pet Shop is available for Nintendo DS and Wii. For Nintendo DS there are four versions of the game; Winter,Spring, Garden and Jungle. There is a new version scheduled for release in the fall of 2009.
Virtual Interactive Games
Virtual Interactive pets come with their own secret code to play in an online virtual world. Kids can play games and create virtual pets.

In addition to the games listed above, Littlest pet shop has as variety of playsets and toys for all ages.
There are special collectible pets that are released occasionally to add to the collection.
