Build Big Houses In Sims Complete Collection

The Sims Complete Collection is a box set that includes the original Sims base game and all of its expansion packs. In the Sims, you create your own Sim families, build their homes, purchase decorations and items, and advance the Sims through virtual jobs. Though houses are limited to only two floors in the game, you can still build large homes if you have enough money and a large lot.

Instructions

Choosing a Large Lot

1. Click the "Select or Create a Family" button.

2. Select the family you would like to play, then click the "Move in Family" button in the bottom-right-corner of the screen.

3. Choose the empty lot that you would like to build on. This needs to be a large lot, such as 1 Sim Lane, 2 Sim Lane or 3 Sim Lane. You can see the name of the lot and the price if you hover your mouse cursor over the lot.

4. Click "Yes" to confirm that you wish to purchase this lot. The cost of the lot will be taken out of your family's current savings.

5. Click the "Pause" button so that you can proceed without Sim events happening in the background.

Making Money Fast

6. Hold down the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "C" buttons on your keyboard at the same time to open up the cheat text box.

7. Type in the cheat "rosebud" and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard to add 1,000 Simoleons to your funds. You can also type in a series of cheats using a semi-colon between them to activate all the cheats at the same time. For example, you can type "rosebud; rosebud; rosebud; rosebud; rosebud" to earn 5,000 Simoleons all at once.

8. Repeat the "rosebud" cheat until you have stored up enough funds to begin building your house. If you find that you need more money while you are designing your house, you can use the "rosebud" cheat at any time.

9. Save your game after you have built up enough money.

Building the House

10. Click the "Build Mode" button. A grid will appear on the ground, showing you where you can build.

11. Select the "Wall and Fence" tool, then drag your mouse across the grid to place the walls for the outside of your house. You can also drag your mouse inside of the house to build your rooms.

12. Click the "Second Story" selection to build a second floor on your house. You will need to use the "Floor Tool" to place floor tiles on the second story before you can decorate it.

13. Use the building tools to build your house as large as you want. Because you purchased a large lot and have infinite money, you will be able to build and decorate a very large house for your Sims.
