Install A Fennec Alpha Android

The Firefox Mobile Beta, also known as Fennec Alpha, provides Firefox browsing on the Android operating system. At the time of publication, Fennec Alpha is in the alpha testing stages, but it's available to the public for downloading. Once you've installed Fennec Alpha on your Android phone, you can use the browser instead of the default browser.


Instructions


1. Open your Android phone's Web browser and go to the mobile Fennec Alpha page.


2. Scroll down the page and tap "Download Beta for Android."


3. Tap the "Download" button in the upper right corner of the page. Tap "Accept & Download."


4. Open your "Applications" menu, then open the Firefox Beta application. When you first launch the browser, it installs a few necessary files before opening the browser.


5. Press the "Settings" button and tap "Add-ons" if you want to add mobile plug-ins to the browser. Type the add-on you want to search for in the search box. Tap the name of the add-on and tap "Add to Firefox Beta" to install the plug-i.
