Update An Avid Microchip

Up-to-date microchips reunite pets and people.

In 2003, Stickers the cat squeezed into a repairman's truck to hide. The heartbroken Shaskey family started a seven-year search after that fateful day. Just as Nancy Shaskey started to give up hope, a message came from the Humane Society of Utah. A woman who had found and cared for the cat relinquished Stickers to the shelter in November 2010. Thanks to an identifying microchip implanted in Stickers, a happy reunion followed. Luckily, the Shaskey family's phone number hadn't changed. Update your pet's AVID microchip with phone and address changes to ensure a happy reunion should your pet become lost.
