Tamagotchi is a handheld virtual pet game from Japan. It offers you the chance to raise a pet, and the better you manage its health, mood and behavior, the more it will grow. Your Tamagotchi changes form as it ages, and to ensure it reaches adulthood, you will need to feed it, play with it and discipline it. Hatching a pet is the first step to playing the game.
Instructions
1. Purchase the Tamagotchi game you desire. There are multiple versions, some of which are discontinued and can only be purchased on secondhand markets like eBay.
2. Pull the plastic tab out of the side of the game to turn on the system.
3. Press the "reset" button on the back of the egg. The button is small and you might need to use a pencil or a paper clip.
4. Set the time by pressing the "B" button. Once the clock appears, press the "A" button to set the hours, "B" to set the minutes and "C" to confirm your selection.
5. Wait five minutes for your new pet to hatch.
