Financial Help For Sick Pets

Reach out to charitable organizations for your pet before surrendering her.

Getting veterinary care or financial help for a sick pet or companion animal in a life or death situation is possible. Plan to help your pet before crisis strikes by contacting charitable organizations that help pets. If your animal suffers from a chronic health condition, contact disease-specific organizations for assistance. Your veterinarian may be able to offer suggestions and help through the American Animal Hospital Association's Helping Pets Fund.

Apply to other cancer assistance funds for your pet, including The Magic Bullet Fund. Magic Bullet's doctors have helped more than 100 dogs with cancer. The cost to treat canine cancer can range from $600 to $6,000, according to the website. Taking care of beloved pets with cancer is Magic Bullet's mission.
