Webkinz Crown Of Wonders Tips

Webkinz are popular toys for children. Each Webkinz animal comes with a code that can be used to activate an online account. After logging into Webkinz World, players can control the online version of their plush toy. Webkinz characters can play games, go to school and even decorate their home. One of the popular daily activities in Webkinz World is the gem hunt. Each day, players can take part in the hunt to ultimately collect all 30 gems and trade for a coveted Webkinz Crown of Wonder.

Play

Once a day, Webkinz players can visit Arte at the Curio Shop and go hunting for gems in one of his mines. After selecting a mine for your gem hunt, you have three chances to locate a gem. Each cave contains 20 stones that will yield either a gem or worthless slag. If you find slag three times in a row, your turn is up, and you will not be able to hunt again until the next day. If you locate a gem on any of your three tries, your gem hunt is over, and you will return to the Curio Shop with your gem. Back at the shop, you can elect to either keep or sell your gem. Below the gem you will see a number indicating how many of that particular gem you already have. If you do not have any of the gem, it is best to keep it for your Crown of Wonder. If you already have the gem, you can sell it for some extra KinzCash, or keep it in your box to assist with obtaining a second Crown of Wonder. Keep in mind that your decision to keep or sell the gem is final. You cannot buy gems from Arte or any other character in Webkinz World. You are also unable to later sell gems that you have decided to keep.

Types of Gems

There are 30 gems that you must collect in order to earn the Webkinz Crown of Wonder. Once you have at least one of each gem stored in your gem box, you can trade your gem collection for the Crown of Wonder. The Crown of Wonder can be worn, stored or sold. The gems for the Crown of Wonder come in five different colors. There are six available gems in each color. You can scroll through your gem box to see which gems you have and which you are missing. The gem box has a separate drawer for each color, with three rows open for gems. The bottom row is reserved for the three most common gems. The middle row contains two gems that are slightly harder to find, and the top gem in each box is the rarest of that color. Once you have collected all the gems of a certain color, you will see a gem of that color appear on the Webkinz Crown of Wonder displayed at the top of the gem box.

Mines

Before you go on your daily gem hunt, you should review the gems in your box to decide which gem color you are most interested in. Each mine has a particular color that it will yield most often as well as a color that it will never yield. While you can find gems of other colors in the mine, you will increase your chances of finding the gem you are looking for by targeting your search in the correct mine. The Buried Bones mine contains the most white gems and does not contain any red ones. The Howling Horse mine usually yields blue gems and will never yield yellow gems. If you are looking for green gems, you should hunt in the Flea Floater mine; however, you won't find any blue gems here. The Muzzle Mouth mine contains all of the various red gems but never contains green gems. Lastly, the Barking Mad Mine has all of the yellow gems but no white gems.
