Find A Zip Code

Find A Zip Code

Have you ever had to mail a card or letter and discovered that you didn't have the Zip Code? It's really very easy to look it up. Here is find a Zip Code.

Instructions

1. Go to www.usps.com.

2. At the top left of the page, click on the link that says "Find A Zip Code".

3. You are now at the "Zip Code Lookup" page. You can look up a Zip Code in four different ways:

SEARCH BY ADDRESS - If you know the address, city and state, you can input them to get the correct Zip Code. If you don't know the complete address, you can put in a partial one, such as a street name, and the website can also find a Zip Code for you.

SEARCH BY CITY - If you need to know the Zip Code for a city and not a specific address, you can simply input the city and state and get the Zip Code for the entire town. If the city has multiple zips the results will show all of them.

SEARCH BY COMPANY: If you don't have a Zip Code for a business, you can input as much of the address as you have, the city, and then the state, and you will be given the Zip Code.

FIND ALL CITIES IN A ZIP CODE - Some Zip Codes cover more than one city. If you know the Zip Code, input it and the site will return all the cities that are covered under that Zip Code.

4. You can also go to www.google.com.

Type in any address, city and state in the search box and Google will return the Zip Code for that address.
