Another thing to consider is who will be wearing the jersey --- men, women, boys or girls, or a combination thereof. Style
For functionality and comfort, choose jerseys that are made of breathable materials, such as knitwear or a cotton and polyester combination. Jerseys can be sleeveless, or have short or long sleeves. Lettering and Numbers
Choose a font that is easy to read and small enough to accommodate long names. Choose between iron and sew-on letters and numbers. Alternatively, a seamstress can embroider them directly onto the jersey. The name of the player normally goes on the back and the team name in the front. Player numbers should be between 8 inches and 11 inches and can be placed on the front and back of the jersey.
Logos
When adding logos, team names and patches, be careful as to not infringe upon copyrights. Before deciding on a logo, it is a good idea to check with the organization your team is associated with for approval before making several jerseys. Logos can also display the mascot of the school or team being represented. Logos and patches look more professional and last longer when they are sewn on.
