The organization is always in need of volunteers to help with a variety of tasks. Some of the activities that volunteers assist with include stall cleaning, feeding, grooming, scrubbing water buckets, fence installation and fund-raising.

Horse-Drawn Carriage Ride
Spend a Friday or Saturday evening taking a horse-drawn carriage tour around Riverside. Enchanted Carriage Company offers these tours from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. through the Riverside Plaza. The company also offers a tour that leaves from Mission Inn and takes people around Fairmont Park or the Heritage Homes area. These special tours last for an hour and are available by appointment only. All carriages are designed to resemble Cinderella's carriage.

Horseback Riding
Take a relaxing ride on horseback with Sunshine & Daydreams Horseback Riding. All tours are privately guided and take guests around part of the 3,000 acres of the Hidden Valley Wildlife Preserve. Twenty-five miles of equestrian trails run through mountain foothills, riverbeds and native vegetation. Rides last for one hour and can be tailored to beginning and advanced riders.
